Paolo

I have just received ‘The Creation’ and ‘XV On Song’ and I find them simply wonderful. It makes me wish I were in Dublin, just to join the coir. Great songs, great singing and magical atmosphere, just taken away from here for a while. Thank you very much.

John O Sullivan

Enjoyed your singing on Nationwide. I told my Welsh friends in Perth Western Australia to look at your web site. We talk a lot about the rugby – wait till he hears there’s a Dublin Welsh Choir!

Your new CD is a real treasure. I am wondering if the choir will be making any public performances in connection with the big rugby match next weekend … also wondering who your allegiances will be with? Ireland to win, the Welsh to keep singing in the valleys (I hope!)

Bethan Kilfoil

A spine-tingling version of the beautiful spiritual “steal away” in a packed church in Rathangan, Co. Kildare, and a rafter-raising rendition of one of the best Welsh hymns ” I Bob Un Sydd Ffyddlon” in a rehearsal room in Dublin are two of my favourite performances by the DWMVC. Hymns and arias, harmony and humour: it’s the sound of home – a bit of Wales in Ireland. The Choir does something special in bringing Welsh and Irish voices together to sing : long may they continue to entertain us with such professionalism and gusto.
